OSAGE BEACH, Mo. — A local group of women is helping meet the needs of many in the Lake community.

In December, Top Ten Women hosted a fundraiser at The Vine Wine Bar & Art Gallery in Osage Beach. Donated baskets were raffled off, and combined with the admission, more than $300 was raised. When the group learned Hope House needed help assisting local families with basic necessities, the members decided to use the funds raised to purchase items at Hy-Vee and donate them to the charity.

In addition to needing food and clothing, many families are without basic personal hygiene products such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, laundry detergent, dish soap and even toilet paper.

The Top Ten Women encouraged the community to “make a donation of canned goods or outgrown clothing, [and] include some of the items mentioned above to help satisfy the ever-growing need in the Lake area.”
